Elizabeth Warren held her largest rally to date in Washington Square Park in New York City in front of a raucous crowd there to hear her speak. Warren touched on the major themes of her campaign, even bringing up the deadly 1911 Triangle Shirtwaist factory fire in New York City as an example of how regular people can push back against corporate headwinds. Warren proclaimed "We’re not here today because of famous arches or famous men. In fact, we’re not here because of men at all. We’re here because of some hard-working women. Women who, more than a hundred years ago, worked long hours in a brown, 10-story building a block that way.”
