The Idaho primary is one of seven Presidential primary contest held one week after Super Tuesday and marks the second time voters from multiple states cast ballots on the same day. Idaho will send 20 pledged delegates to the Democratic National Convention which will be proportionally allocated among the candidates based off the percentage of votes they received.

Polls are open between 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM MST on Tuesday, March 10, 2020. Idaho has a closed primary, meaning only registered Democrats are able to participate, but voters are allowed to change party affiliation the day of the primary. Idaho is one of 39 states that allows early voting and all voters are also eligible to cast an absentee ballot for any reason whatsoever so long as it is received by the 11th day preceding an election.

A candidate must receive 15% or more of the vote in order to be considered a viable candidate and be awarded delegates.
