3rd Presidential Debate (2020)
The third and final Presidential debate between Joe Biden and Donald Trump was held at Belmont University in Nashville, TN. Both candidates were allowed to answer moderator Kristen Welker's initial questions for two minutes uninterrupted, as a new feature allowed opponent's mics to be muted during that timeframe. After the initial segment question, of which there were six, both candidates spoke freely. Biden and Trump addressed questions on outside interference with American elections, the economy, national security, the ongoing pandemic, healthcare, climate change and tax plans if elected. Final question was about Leadership. This debate was far more civil than their first.
Joe Biden Primetime Town Hall
In lieu of the 2nd Presidential Debate Joe Biden participated in a townhall hosted by ABC and moderated by George Stephanopoulos in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Biden was asked a number of questions by undecided voters and Stephanopoulos himself, notably on whether or not Biden favors adding seats to the Supreme Court, which Biden promised he would answer before election day. Biden also spent much of the event showing the American people that he is the exact opposite of Donald Trump in both temperament and with his approach to governance and promised he would work to heal the polarizing divide plaguing American politics today.
Joe Biden Speech on Unity and Reconciliation at Gettysburg
Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden spoke at one of the United States most hallowed sites and delivered an impassioned call for a deeply divided American people to come together for the greater good of the country. Biden, speaking near the Civil War battlefield in Gettysburg, said the American people "have too bright a future to have it shipwrecked on the shoals of anger and hate and division." His nearly 30 minute speech didn't mention Donald Trump one time, but it was impossible not to take interpret his speech as anything but an unambiguous rebuke of Donald Trump's Presidency.
1st Presidential Debate
The first Presidential Debate between Joe Biden and Donald Trump was held in front of a small audience at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. The topics debated were Biden's and Trump's records, the Supreme Court, pandemic, economy, racial unrest, and election integrity. Donald Trump constantly interrupted Joe Biden, prompting the former Vice President to ask Donald Trump "will you shut up, man?" Chris Wallace, the moderator for the evening, constantly had to chime in to ask Donald Trump to stop interrupting Joe Biden.

Joe Biden gave the best speech of his life according to many receiving praise from pundits on the right and the left. He talked about Covid-19 and the hardships families face because of it and his plans to combat it as President.He also talked about protecting social security and medicare and improving childcare and eldercare.

Former vice president Joe Biden delivered a speech in Wilmington, Delaware in which he spoke on combating systemic racism in the United States and to offer a policy proposal aimed at addressing it. Biden's plan called for the Federal Reserve to focus on addressing severe economic gaps between whites and minorities in the country, a major investment in Black-owned businesses, and access to affordable housing for minorities, among other things.

Former Vice President and presumptive Democratic Presidential nominee Joe Biden spoke about the killing of George Floyd and the nationwide riots that have followed during a speech in Philadelphia, PA. The former Vice President strongly condemned President Trump's handling of the crisis, especially his heavy-handed approach to peaceful protesters outside of the White House. The Democratic presidential front runner and former Vice President, Joe Biden, participated in a video interview with hosts of The View talk show. He talked about how he stayed up-to-date on the current global events and how he would handle things differently. He also expressed concerns about misinformation being spread by people who aren't professionals or have an ulterior motive. He also said that the American people could get through the crisis and expressed hope that we will emerge stronger than before.
11th Democratic Debate
The 11th Democratic Debate was supposed to be held at the Arizona Federal Theatre, also known as the Comerica Theatre, in Phoenix , Arizona, but was moved to CNN studios in Washington, D.C. due to the coronavirus pandemic sweeping across the nation. After ten debates with a multitude of candidates, this was the first head-to-head debate of the primary season, featuring the last two major candidates remaining - Joe Biden and Bernie Sanders. The two candidates spent over two hours debating with a large portion of the debate focused on the epidemic that has brought the economy to the brink and shut down large swaths of American society.
10th Democratic Debate
The 10th Democratic Debate will be held at the Gaillard Center in Charleston, South Carolina. CBS News is hosting the debate along with the Congressional Black Caucus Institute. It is being held days after the Nevada caucuses and days before the South Carolina Democratic primary.
9th Democratic Debate
The 9th Democratic Debate was held at the Paris Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada. NBC News and MSNBC hosted the debate along with The Nevada Independent. It was the smallest debate stage in the 2020 election cycle and the first debate former New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg participated in. His Democratic rivals wasted no time harshly criticizing his record on a number of issues and questioning his motives for entering the race. Bloomberg appeared caught off guard at some moments, but forcefully pushed back at others. Another memorable moment is when Sen. Klobuchar and Pete Buttigieg had an impassioned debate over courting minority voters.
8th Democratic Debate
The 8th Democratic debate co-hosted by ABC and television station WMUR was held at St Anselm College, outside of Manchester, NH. The candidates surprisingly struck a less hostile tone than prior debates and there were even some moments of levity when Bernie Sanders was asked about a criticism by Hillary Clinton about his likability in the Senate, hoping to get some moments of disagreement, but instead Joe Biden talked about his admiration for Sanders and gave him a hug. Not all moments were light though, with multiple candidates questioning Pete Buttigieg about his inability to break through with non-white voters and Biden sharply criticizing Sanders over gun control.
7th Democratic Debate
The 7th Democratic Debate co-hosted by CNN and The Des Moines Register was held at Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa. Six candidates qualified for the debate in what was the smallest debate to date. The debate happened one day after Senator Warren accused Senator Sanders of privately telling her that a woman couldn't win the general election, an accusation Sanders vociferously denies. Another memorable element of the evening was Senator Klobuchar appearing to go on the attack against nearly everyone on the stage, especially the candidates she perceives as being too far left to win in a general election.
6th Democratic Debate
The 6th Democratic debate co-hosted by PBS NewsHour and Politico will be held at Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles. The seven candidates who qualified will share the same stage for a single-night of debate. It begins at 8:00PM Eastern and is slated to end at 10:30PM. This will be the last debate of 2019.

Joe Biden held a campaign rally in New Hampton, Iowa during his barnstorm tour of the state. The rally was like many others he's had throughout the state until a voter stood up and accused Biden of "sending his son to Ukraine" while he was Vice President, which prompted Biden to strongly push back against the man. Biden called the man a "damn liar." Biden also said "You said I set up my son to work at an oil company, isn't that what you said? Get your words straight, jack. I'm not going to get in an argument with you."

5th Democratic Debate
The Fifth Democratic Debate will be hosted by MSNBC and The Washington Post at Tyler Perry Studios in Atlanta, Georgia. Ten candidates qualified for the debate - Cory Booker, Tulsi Gabbard, Amy Klobuchar, Pete Buttigieg, Elizabeth Warren, Joe Biden, Bernie Sanders, Kamala Harris, Andrew Yang, and Tom Steyer.

Joe Biden sat down for an interview with Norah O'Donnell of 60 Minutes for his first major interview since Donald Trump attempted to get dirt on him and his family from the Ukrainian government, a decision that has led to the House of Representatives opening up an impeachment inquiry into the President. Biden forcefully defended him and his sons characters, saying that he has nothing to hide, unlike the President who has refused to release his tax returns. Biden also spent time lamenting the "lasting damage" the Trump Administration will have on the country.

Joe Biden spoke at a rally in Davenport, Iowa where he spent much of the time hammering Donald Trump over his continued personal attacks and conspiracy theories against him and his son, Hunter Biden. 4th Democratic Debate
The fourth Democratic debate at Otterbein University in Westerville, Ohio, just outside of Columbus, featured twelve candidates all sharing the same stage. Most observers paid close attention to how Senator Elizabeth Warren performance now that she is leading in many national polls and she had a fairly strong night. Eyes were also on Bernie Sanders, who is returning to the race after suffering a heart attack on October 1. He had a strong performance and is, at least for now, seeming to move on from his health emergency. Joe Biden had a relatively strong night without any major gaffes, but without any major memorable moment either.

Joe Biden officially called for President Donald Trump's impeachment for the first time, saying that Trump "is shooting holes in our Constitution and we cannot allow him to get away with it.” Biden, unlike many of his Democratic competitors in the 2020 Primary, had long refused to comment on calling for Trump to be removed from office, but decided that the time has come for Trump to be removed due to the widening Ukraine scandal where he used he pressured that country's President to investigate Joe Biden in exchange for the release of desperately needed military aid.

Biden took direct aim at Trump, saying that he's "not going anywhere" and that he's "not going to destroy me."

Joe Biden sat down for an interview on Jimmy Kimmel Live one day after Nancy Pelosi formally announced that the House of Representatives will open impeachment proceedings against President Trump due to the fact that Trump pressured the Ukrainian President to investigate Joe Biden in exchange for him releasing military aid authorized by Congress to the country. Biden expressed deep concern about Trump's actions, saying "It's such a blatant abuse of power that I don't think it can stand. Based on the material that they acknowledged today, it seems to me it's awful hard to avoid the conclusion that it is an impeachable offense and a violation of constitutional responsibility."

The third Democratic debate in Houston brought the top ten candidates in the Democratic field onto the same stage for the first time and there was no shortage of lively discussion among the group. The top three candidates - Joe Biden, Elizabeth Warren, and Bernie Sanders - stuck largely to their typical script, with neither of them delivering any major blows, to the likely relief of Joe Biden. The remaining seven candidates received ample time to deliver their message and answer questions from the moderators, but none appeared to deliver a breakout performance that would shake the top of the field up.

He also discussed a recent controversy where he appeared to lump together a number of different stories about military heroism into one story, saying he has nothing to apologize for.

Joe BIden spoke at a campaign rally at rally in Keene State College in New Hampshire where he talked about his desire to pass the Equality Act, which is a bill the 116th House of Representatives passed that would prohibit discrimination "on the basis of the sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, or pregnancy, childbirth, or a related medical condition of an individual, as well as because of sex-based stereotypes." Biden also talked about his desire to expand Obamacare, redouble our efforts to tackle climate change, and pass legislation that will help veterans.

Joe Biden held a town hall with students and faculty of Dartmouth College in Hanover, New Hampshire where he fielded questions on what was supposed to be a health care focus, but turned into a wide ranging discussion on a variety of topics. A memorable moment of the event was when Mr. Biden, when recalling the tumultuous era of political assassinations throughout the 1960's, asked those in attendance to imagine what would have happened if Barack Obama were assassinated.

2nd Democratic Debate (2/2)
Night two of the second Democratic debate in Detroit was a heated one between the 2020 hopefuls. The candidates focused more on attacking one another on issues such as healthcare and immigration than they did on how they would defeat Donald Trump. Kamala Harris was slammed by several candidates for her healthcare plan and her tenure as California's attorney general, but it was Joe Biden who received the majority of the blows by almost every candidate. His record was constantly called into question, as well as his position on the Hyde Amendment. Biden's responses were references to his time serving with Barack Obama.

1st Democratic Debate (2/2)
Night two of the first Democratic debate of the 2020 election cycle featured the second ten of twenty candidates who qualified to participate. The debate featured much more spirited discussion between the candidates than the first evening, with Vice President Biden, Senator Sanders, and Senator Harris engaging each other directly on a number of hot button issues like universal healthcare, racism, and immigration reform. One exchange in particular stood out when Senator Harris criticized Vice President Biden over his remarks praising former segregationist Southern Senators. Biden pushed back by saying Harris mischaracterized his words and insisted he did not praise racists.
