Joe Biden Primetime Town Hall
In lieu of the 2nd Presidential Debate Joe Biden participated in a townhall hosted by ABC and moderated by George Stephanopoulos in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Biden was asked a number of questions by undecided voters and Stephanopoulos himself, notably on whether or not Biden favors adding seats to the Supreme Court, which Biden promised he would answer before election day. Biden also spent much of the event showing the American people that he is the exact opposite of Donald Trump in both temperament and with his approach to governance and promised he would work to heal the polarizing divide plaguing American politics today.
Joe Biden Speech on Unity and Reconciliation at Gettysburg
Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden spoke at one of the United States most hallowed sites and delivered an impassioned call for a deeply divided American people to come together for the greater good of the country. Biden, speaking near the Civil War battlefield in Gettysburg, said the American people "have too bright a future to have it shipwrecked on the shoals of anger and hate and division." His nearly 30 minute speech didn't mention Donald Trump one time, but it was impossible not to take interpret his speech as anything but an unambiguous rebuke of Donald Trump's Presidency.

Former President Barack Obama spoke at the 2020 Democratic National Convention in support of his former Vice President, Joe Biden. President Obama issued a stark warning about the current state of democracy in the United States and compared it to other tumultuous times in our nations short history, imploring Americans to "not let them take away your power. Don't let them take away your democracy." He also issued a stunning rebuke of his predecessor, saying "Donald Trump hasn't grown into the job because he can't" before urging all eligible Americans to vote for Joe Biden in November.

Wolf says that the coronavirus has affected the economy, children cannot go to school or daycare, social gatherings have been canceled and thus halting life as they know it. He also calls for everyone to take the situation seriously and to practice social distancing and stay-at-home orders.

Joe Biden delivered a speech on his economic policy proposals in his home town of Scranton, Pennsylvania where he blasted Donald Trump for "squandering" a strong economy and abandoning the very people he promised to help if he were to be elected in 2016. Biden said that "Donald Trump inherited a strong economy from Barack and me. Things were beginning to really move. And just like everything else he’s inherited, he’s in the midst of squandering it,” before pivoting to his proposals to help the lower and middle classes get a leg up in a changing global economy.
