The 2020 Republican National Convention will be held August 24-27 in Charlotte, North Carolina, Washington, D.C. and virtually throughout the country. The four day event will feature a number of prominent speakers, culminating with President Donald Trump accepting the Republican nomination for President on the final night.

How to Watch the Democratic National Convention

The RNC will air prime time coverage of the convention from 8:30 to 11:00 PM EST each night of the convention. It will be aired on all major broadcast channels, cable news channels, mobile devices, and both traditional and satellite radio.

The Democratic National Committee will be airing the entire convention, including non-prime time coverage, on their official website and social media handles. 

In addition to the official RNC website and social media handles, Amazon Prime Video and

Prominent Speakers Each Day

Each night of the Republican National Convention will feature a number of speeches by prominent politicians, Republican personalities, and members of President Trump's family, culminating in an address by President Trump officially accepting the Republican nomination for President. No leading Republicans from prior Administrations will be speaking at the convention.

Some prominent speakers include Donald Trump Jr., Eric Trump, Ivanka Trump, Melania Trump, Tiffany Trump, Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, Senator Rand Paul, Kellyanne Conway, UFC President Dana White, Rudy Giuliani, Senator Joni Ernst, Second Lady Karen Pence, and Evangelist Franklin Graham. 

The third night of the convention will feature an address by Vice President Mike Pence , who will officially accept the Republican nomination for Vice President, with President Donald Trump formally accepting the Republican nomination for President on the fourth night. 

Convention Format

The Republican National Convention is officially being held in Charlotte, North Carolina and Washington, D.C., but will also be conducted virtually. 

Each day will feature a number of meetings by various groups within the Republican Party. These meetings will only be available to view on the Republican National Committee's official convention website

Every night of the convention will feature 2.5 hours of prime time speeches from 8:30 to 11:00 PM EST. During this time is when prominent Republican politicians and personalities will speak, up to and including Vice President Mike Pence and President Donald Trump. Vice President Pence will speak on Wednesday evening, with President Donald Trump accepting the nomination on Thursday night.
